Heather Hamilton

Managing Principal

For over 8 years, Heather Hamilton has been working with trustees, attorneys and trust officers to meet their fiduciary responsibilities. Heather founded Fiduciary Accounting Services (FAS) in 2007, inspired by the realization that many attorneys, accountants, and bookkeepers didn’t have the time or resources to prepare thorough and accurate fiduciary accountings. Today, Heather is recognized as one of the most skilled practitioners of fiduciary accounting in California. She wrote the “how-to” chapter of the Fiduciary Accounting Handbook 2015. Published by Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), this guide is the definitive reference for trust and estate professionals throughout California.

 

Prior to FAS, Heather spent 15 years working in commercial banking focusing on business development and client relationship management for Wells Fargo Bank, Silicon Valley Bank, Comerica, and City National Bank. Her client base included privately held and family-owned businesses, high net-worth individuals as well as technology companies. A graduate of California State University, Chico, she holds a degree in Finance.

 

Heather has been involved with the Diablo Valley Estate Planning Council, the Cancer Support Community (former board member) and the Junior League of Oakland-East Bay (former President of the Board). She is currently serving as President of the Contra Costa Ballet Foundation.
 

In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys traveling and is learning to play golf.
