The FAS team started the new year off with a two-day event filled with education and fun. Day One began at the Fiduciary Accounting Services office with Sarah Tetlow, a master of productivity, who taught us how to identify and optimize our unique strengths. Next, Business Consultant Paul Wildrick discussed best practices for professional services, highlighting the most effective way to leverage our team’s talents to achieve exceptional client results. Following lunch, Attorney Doug Housman explained fiduciary duties, with a particular emphasis on the trustee’s duty to account. Attorney Kelley Way educated the FAS team on intellectual property and the unique characteristics of copyrights, trademarks, and patents. Managing Principal Heather Hamilton wrapped up the day with a focus on the future of FAS.

Day Two featured a surprise outing for the FAS team. We were picked up at the office and transported to Kitchen on Fire in Berkeley for a private cooking event. Our team worked together, learned together, and created a fabulous eclectic meal to be shared by all. While the FAS team may be known for its accounting expertise, we surprised ourselves with our acumen in the kitchen and relished the great conversation and more than a few laughs.
