On August 14, 2024, Fiduciary Accounting Services’ Director John Pratuch joined members of the California Association of Legal Document Assistants (CALDA) to discuss fiduciary accounting. Joining FAS in 2017, John has worked with professional fiduciaries, trust and estate administrators, and litigators throughout California and prepared and reviewed thousands of accountings. He has developed the expertise to support litigation, mediation, and court reporting in trust, estate, and conservatorship matters. John’s presentation included topics such as the documents required to prepare a fiduciary accounting, the contents of a fiduciary accounting, how to review a fiduciary accounting, common mistakes made in fiduciary accountings, and the importance of providing a fiduciary accounting.
